Emperion 3D Coating System

Emperion is an advanced dual chamber DLC deposition system capable of depositing coatings with unprecedented speed and thickness.

Using Duralar’s special patented PECVD process called DualArmor™, an extremely dense and intense plasma coats all internal, external and complex 3D surfaces with a high level of uniformity. In addition, the coating process times are reduced and, at the same time, protective layers of high thickness are created.

Centurion Coating System

The Duralar Centurion deposition machine is a hybrid, versatile and powerful system that provides an advanced coating with PVD and PECVD processes. This system is configured for productive and economical batch industrial coating.

System designed to coat large parts and to provide a high volume of production for small/medium-sized pieces.

R&D for internal tubes’ surface

Research and development are key elements to lead Duralar to expand and open up to new perspectives. In particular, we collaborate with our customers in the implementation of solutions with ever lower environmental impact and higher performance.

The objective of eliminating chromium and other heavy metals to replace them with DLC coatings, thanks to its excellent qualities, goes hand in hand with the European regulations that aim to have eco-friendly treatments and products that are safe for the health of workers and end users.

The example of this project for internal tubes is of considerable importance as it challenges the limits of technology (with a ratio between internal diameter and length over 30:1) and is designed for industrial production (going from the concept and a single-tube prototype, to production batches of dozens of pieces per cycle).

InnerArmor® – CS10

The Duralar CS-10 system incorporates InnerArmor™ coating technology and uses a patented process for DLC deposition.

It is developed for internal surfaces even with very high length-to-diameter ratios (even 15:1). Thanks to its characteristic flexible design, the CS-10 is particularly suitable for coating of the interior of different types of pipes and similar objects. Its flexibility allows the system to be used for the research and development of innovative solutions and treatments.

Customised systems

Duralar has all the know-how and means to provide the customer with a personalized deposition system, which includes both dimensional modifications of the deposition chambers (to maximise production capacity and process efficiency) and the installation of multiple sources and deposition technologies.

The customer is assisted from design to after-sales service and in the fine-tuning of the coatings.
